Deborah Martin Irby is a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist with over 14 years of experience improving the lives of those with hearing loss. Inspired by her father’s battle with dementia linked to hearing loss, Deb is passionate about educating patients on the connection between hearing health and overall well-being. She is dedicated to offering solutions that improve communication and enhance her patients’ quality of life, ensuring they stay connected with loved ones and colleagues.

Currently serving as President of the Alabama Society of Hearing Healthcare Providers, Deb has spent over 13 years in the Dothan area, where her patient-focused approach led her previous practice to multiple top recognitions in Alabama. “I look forward to serving patients at Hearing Center South/Eye Center South with the same commitment to excellence.”
Deb’s career includes diverse experiences, from First Mate on a Hinckley 49 custom yacht to broadcast programming at the Naval Academy Flagship station. Her professional journey also includes roles in banking, court administration, radio, and management before she found her calling in hearing health. “I love what I do, and I believe God prepared me for this profession.”
Outside of work, Deb is a proud mother to her son, Matthew Sanders Irby, and enjoys the company of two cats and an American Bulldog, Bella. She attends Cornerstone Church in Dothan and enjoys swimming, kayaking, reading, and re-watching Poldark in her spare time.
