What is Restylane^®?

Restylane® is a dermal filler containing hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body that stimulates collagen production. Increased production of collagen provides natural-looking volume in targeted areas. There are several different products designed specifically for areas of the face and body, allowing us to create custom treatments based on your need. Some Restylane^® fillers treat moderate to deep wrinkles, including nasolabial folds and marionette lines (the lines that start at your mouth and extend to your chin), while others add volume to your cheeks and the backs of your hands. The newest product in the lineup, Restylane^® Kysse, is designed exclusively for giving lips a fuller look.

Who Can Use Restylane^®?

Restylane^® can be used by most adults over the age of 21. During your aesthetic consultation with us at Eye Center South, your doctor will evaluate your skincare goals and decide which Restylane^® products best suit you or suggest alternative treatments if not for you.

How Long Does Restylane^® Last?

Most patients see the difference from a complete Restylane® treatment almost immediately, but how long results last will depend on the individual, the product used, and which part of your face or hands were treated. Areas of your skin with less movement tend to show results longer.
