EYE CENTER SOUTH – Tallahassee, FL
We are a growing ophthalmology and optometry practice with multiple locations, including a well-established office in Tallahassee, FL. We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Office Manager to lead our Tallahassee team, which consists of 5-6 employees and 1 physician. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee both the daily office operations and manage the scheduling and workflow to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the patient/physician schedule to maximize the use of provider time.
- Schedule staff to meet the operational and medical care requirements of the patients.
- Be available to address physician and staff issues in a positive manner, as needed.
- Manage and resolve patient complaints, as needed.
- Direct the day-to-day functions of the office staff in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern a private medical practice.
- Ensure staff assigned to you comply with the written policies and procedures established by the facility.
- Ensure the office staff interacts with patients and all referral sources in a professional, competent and compassionate manner.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate new ideas, resolve problems, obtain feedback and maintain the overall effectiveness of the clinic staff.

- Must have proven experience in developing and maintaining an efficient, cohesive and productive team.
- Excellent computer and analytical skills.
Requirements:
- Preferred 2-3 years of medical office management experience
- Knowledge of medical software, scheduling, insurance processing and collections preferred
- Ophthalmology practice knowledge and certification (COA/COT) preferred
