Cataracts are one of the most common eye diseases diagnosed by ophthalmologist today. Cataracts are when the natural lens of the eye becomes clouded and causes vision to deteriorate.
Another common eye disease is glaucoma. Glaucoma is a disease in which pressure within the eye becomes elevated causing the optic nerve to sustain serious injury.

The macula is responsible for your central vision, which allows for reading, driving, and facial recognition.
