Mary Kate Moring, O.D.
Optometrist
Mary Kate Moring, O.D. earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Auburn University in 2009. She graduated from the Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she earned her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2013.
Dr. Moring was inducted into the prestigious Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association. She has extensive experience in advanced contact lens designs for corneal disorders such as keratoconus. She specializes in problem focused eye examinations, dry eye and pre and postsurgical care.
Dr. Moring has been in private practice in the Wiregrass area since 2013 prior to joining the Eye Center South- Dothan medical staff in 2021.
Dr. Moring is a native of Dothan, AL. She and her husband have two children, David and Anna Katherine. She enjoys spending her free time at the lake and beach with her family.
